I think Owen is getting teeth and has been a little bit of a grump, forgot how to sleep more than 2 hours at a time and doesn't eat very good. He also has been playing with his tongue and sticking it out all the time. Its funny and cute.

Its always good to get out of the house and Owen loves to be outside. Its so fun to see how excited he gets when we go to the park.

Lake Powell

Earlier this month we went to Lake Powell with my family and some family friends. It was a BLAST! We cliff jumped, paddle boarded, sat in tubes, swam, sun bathed, went exploring, pushed rocks off cliffs, watched movies on a projector at night, read books, played games ate and relaxed. It was a very successful vacation. Owen enjoyed the beach more than the lake but he did really good. He loved that there was always watermelon and that he didn't have to wear clothes. Sometimes he would get too hot and so we would just put him in the water and that worked like a charm. By the end of the week he liked everyone and wasn't as attached to me. Thanks everyone for a great trip!

Cleaning a Dishwasher

My dishwasher has been grossly dirty and so I looked up some different ways to clean the inside of it. This is what I found and it actually worked! I'm mostly blogging this so I can have it in the future. Sorry its not super exciting.

First make sure there isn't gunk down in the bottom.
Put in a cup of vinegar in a bowl on the top rack. Run your dishwasher
Then sprinkle baking soda on the bottom. Run your dishwasher again.
Lastly put a cup of bleach on the top rack. Run your dishwasher one last time.
Hopefully you have a clean dishwasher.

MIA - It must be Summer

I have been missing from this whole blog for a while. I'm going to blame summer. This post is going to be overflowing with pictures. That's the best part of a blog anyway, right? So much has happened.

My sister came home from her mission.

While we were in Nevada we went on a hike,

played with friends,

and cousins, 

played outside,

went shopping with grandma, 

went to Davis' track meet,

and took family pictures.

Then we came back home to go to Milana's blessing and took more family pictures.

Owen turned 7 months old

Owen started getting into things

We went to the lake. 

We went golfing

Uncle Brandon and Aunt Taylor came to visit.

Owen turned 8 months old, and got 2 teeth

Went to the cabin with Brooke and Brian and CO

Owen learned how to stand up in bed

Kevin got home from his mission

Played on a softball team and made it to the quarter finals 

(we were ranked 17th and upset 3 teams)

Owen turned 9 months

Owen still gets into everything and sometimes gets stuck

Had one last BBQ at the lake with the Wilkins. 

We will miss them but wish them the best with life after graduation and the arrival of little Rosie
